William C. O'Conor Bill is Managing Director of Dow Jones' Wealth Management Segment that is focused on the provision of quality content and functionality to improve the advisory and investment practices and services at brokerage, wealth management, and insurance companies.
Bill has spent 20 years in the financial information services segment. Prior to Dow Jones, Bill was EVP at Generate Inc, a business networking startup acquired by Dow Jones in May 2008. Bill was Managing Director at Thomson Financial where he helped create through development, integration of existing assets, and acquisition, Thomson Financial's $350m Wealth Management practice.
Bill was also CEO of the Thomson Financial Solutions Group, an industry leader providing the B2B and B2C communities with indispensable web and wireless-enabled financial content, tools, consulting, data integration and web publishing services.
Bill is a graduate of Georgetown University.
